Interested in making a difference?

If you want to help realise our vision of nature-rich National Parks for everyone, we would love to hear from you.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who can bring passion, commitment and insight through one or both of the following:

  • Experience of working with under-represented communities, championing social justice, or helping organisations advance anti-racism, equity, diversity and inclusion.

  • A strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, together with lived experience of, or an appreciation for, the barriers faced by people who are under-represented in National Parks, including young people, those from low-income or ethnically diverse backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and people living with disabilities.

Unsure about applying?

Research shows that many talented people, particularly women and those from under-represented or marginalised groups, can be reluctant to apply unless they meet every requirement of a role. If you are excited by this opportunity but feel your experience does not align perfectly with every aspect of the role, we would still encourage you to engage with the opportunity.

We welcome and encourage expressions of interest from people of all backgrounds. We do not discriminate on the basis of disability, race, colour, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, age, veteran status or other category protected by law. We recognise that different perspectives and transferable skills can be just as valuable as direct experience, and we are committed to supporting the successful candidate in their growth and development.

Recruitment timeline

  • 7 December 2026 - Closing date for applications

  • 10 December 2026 - All vetting interviews with Charisma must be completed

  • w/c 4 January or w/c 11 January - Interviews with Campaign for National Parks
